Sin da piccolo sono stato affascinato dall’esplorazione spaziale e sulla parete della mia camera c’erano i progetti dello STS – più noto come Space Shuttle – e la foto di Neil Armstrong sulla Luna. Che sia finito a studiare ingegneria aerospaziale non è stato un caso, ma lungo il percorso ho raggiunto un bivio e imboccato una strada totalmente diversa. Nel 2000 ho avuto un incontro inaspettato e ravvicinato con il mondo del giornalismo: è stata un attrazione fatale.
Sono un classe ‘75 e ormai da più di 20 anni mi sono occupato e ho scritto di tecnologia sulle pagine di PC Professionale, con la stessa curiosità che mi ha permesso di imparare a usare il primo computer: avevo poco più di dieci anni quando a metà degli anni ‘80 arrivò a casa un clone di IBM XT, uno scatolone di ferro con doppio floppy disk da 5,25 pollici - nessun hard disk - e un ingombrante monitor a fosfori verdi.
La tecnologia è la passione diventata lavoro, ma quando posso mi piace dedicarmi a molte altre cose: fotografia, viaggi, montagna, arrampicata e più di recente la corsa e il nuoto per citarne qualcuna.
Non sono mai stato un grande utilizzatore dei canali social, ma qui sotto ho raccolto i contatti dove potete trovarmi. Sono un po’ orso da questo punto di vista, ma la mia filosofia è che non si è mai troppo vecchi per essere curiosi, per cominciare un qualche progetto, per imparare e per cambiare.
From an early age I have been fascinated by space exploration and on the wall of my bedroom there were the projects of the STS - better known as the Space Shuttle - and the photo of Neil Armstrong on the Moon. With that said, it was not a coincide that I ended up studying aerospace engineering, but along the way I reached a crossroads and took a totally different path. In 2000 I had an unexpected and close encounter with the world of journalism: it was a fatal attraction. I am a class of ‘75 and for more than 20 years I have been dealing with and I wrote about technology on the pages of PC Professionale, with the same curiosity that allowed me to learn how to use the first computer: I was just over ten years old when in the middle of 1980s, an IBM XT clone arrived at home, an steel box with double 5.25-inch floppy disks - no hard disks - paired with a bulky green phosphor monitor. In my case technology is passion that has become work, but when I have some time off I dedicate myself to many other things: photography, travel, mountains, climbing and more recently running and swimming to name a few. I have never been a big user of social networks, but below I collected the contacts where you can find me. I’m a bit of a bear from this point of view, but my philosophy is that you are never too old to be curious, to start some project, to learn and to change.
